Overview of the Six Major Evaluation Categories

 

 

WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)는 ESG(Environment, Social, Governance)의 기본 철학을 포함하여 지속가능성(Sustainability), 미래 경쟁력(Future Competitiveness), 혁신역량(Innovation Capability), 장기 가치창출(Long-Term Value Creation), 공공가치(Public Value) 및 사회적 가치(Social Value)를 종합적으로 평가하는 공식 책임경영 평가체계이다.

The WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI) is the Official Responsible Management Evaluation Framework that incorporates the fundamental philosophy of ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) while comprehensively evaluating Sustainability, Future Competitiveness, Innovation Capability, Long-Term Value Creation, Public Value, and Social Value.

 

또한 WFSRI는 표준화된 책임경영 평가방법론(Responsible Management Evaluation Methodology)과 책임경영 평가기준(Responsible Management Evaluation Criteria)을 기반으로 기업과 공공기관의 현재 수준뿐 아니라 미래 성장 가능성과 지속가능한 발전 역량을 함께 평가한다.

Supported by a standardized Responsible Management Evaluation Methodology and Responsible Management Evaluation Criteria, WFSRI evaluates not only the current performance of corporations and public institutions but also their future growth potential and capacity for sustainable development.

 

이러한 책임경영 평가체계는 6대 평가부문(Six Major Evaluation Categories)을 중심으로 운영되며, 각 평가부문은 독립적인 평가영역으로 구성되는 동시에 상호 유기적으로 연계되어 조직의 책임경영 수준을 종합적으로 평가한다.

This Responsible Management Evaluation Framework is implemented through the Six Major Evaluation Categories. Each category operates as an independent evaluation domain while remaining systematically interconnected to provide a comprehensive assessment of Responsible Management performance.

 

6대 평가부문은 다시 14개 하위항목(Fourteen Sub-Categories), 110개 세부평가지표(Detailed Evaluation Indicators) 및 31개 핵심가치지표(CVI, Core Value Indicators)와 연계되어 객관적이고 일관된 책임경영 평가를 수행한다.

The Six Major Evaluation Categories are further linked to Fourteen Sub-Categories, 110 Detailed Evaluation Indicators, and 31 Core Value Indicators (CVI), providing an objective, consistent, and systematic Responsible Management evaluation framework.

 

 

Ⅰ. 친환경 기술 개발·혁신 및 탄소배출 저감
Eco-friendly Technology Development, Innovation and Carbon Emission Reduction

 

친환경 기술 개발 및 혁신, 탄소중립 실천, 에너지 효율 향상, 기후변화 대응 역량 및 미래세대를 위한 지속가능한 환경책임 이행 수준을 평가한다.

Evaluates eco-friendly technology development and innovation, carbon neutrality practices, energy-efficiency improvement, climate change response capabilities, and the fulfillment of sustainable environmental responsibilities for future generations.

 

 

Ⅱ. 환경 개선 및 지속가능경영
Environmental Improvement and Sustainable Management

 

환경경영 체계 구축, 미래세대 환경보호, 지속가능한 투자, ESG 운영체계 구축, 안전·보건 중심의 건강한 조직환경 조성 및 지속가능경영 역량을 평가한다.

Evaluates environmental management systems, environmental protection for future generations, sustainable investment, ESG operational frameworks, the creation of safe and healthy organizational environments, and sustainable management capabilities.

 

 

Ⅲ. 인권 보호·평등 및 다양성
Human Rights Protection, Equality and Diversity

 

인권 보호, 미래세대 보호, 평등한 조직문화 조성, 다양성 존중 및 사회적 약자 보호 수준을 평가한다.

Evaluates the protection of human rights, protection of future generations, the promotion of equality and diversity, and efforts to protect socially vulnerable groups.

 

 

Ⅳ. 지역사회 협력 및 사회공헌
Community Cooperation and Social Contribution

 

지역사회 협력, 공공가치 실현, 사회공헌 활동, 사회안전망 구축 및 공동체 신뢰 강화 수준을 평가한다.

Evaluates community cooperation, the realization of public value, social contribution activities, the strengthening of social safety networks, and the enhancement of community trust.

 

 

Ⅴ. 이사회 독립성·감사체계 및 윤리경영 체계
Board Independence, Audit Systems and Ethical Management

 

이사회 독립성, 감사체계, 윤리경영, 준법경영, 회계투명성, 내부통제, 재무건전성 및 지속가능한 리스크 관리 수준을 평가한다.

Evaluates board independence, audit systems, ethical management, compliance management, accounting transparency, internal controls, financial soundness, and sustainable risk management practices.

 

 

Ⅵ. 이해관계자 권리 보장 및 책임경영
Stakeholder Rights Protection and Responsible Management

 

이해관계자 권리보호, 공정운영, 책임경영 실천, 사회적 가치 창출 및 지속가능한 가치창출 역량을 평가한다.

Evaluates stakeholder rights protection, fair operations, responsible management practices, social value creation, and sustainable value creation capabilities.

 

 

 

종합평가
Comprehensive Assessment

 

6대 평가부문은 기업 및 공공기관의 책임경영 수준을 환경(Environment), 사회(Social), 거버넌스(Governance)는 물론 지속가능성, 미래 경쟁력, 혁신역량, 장기 가치창출, 공공가치 및 사회적 가치까지 종합적으로 평가하기 위한 핵심 평가체계이다.

The Six Major Evaluation Categories constitute the core evaluation framework for comprehensively assessing not only the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) dimensions of Responsible Management, but also Sustainability, Future Competitiveness, Innovation Capability, Long-Term Value Creation, Public Value, and Social Value.

 

평가결과는 SEC WFSRI Rating, WFPL ESG 인증제도, ESG·WFSRI 평가분석센터 운영 및 책임경영 연구·분석의 기초자료로 활용된다.

The evaluation results serve as the foundation for the SEC WFSRI Rating, the WFPL ESG Certification Program, the ESG·WFSRI Evaluation & Analysis Center, and Responsible Management research and analytical activities.
