평가체계의 목적
Purpose of the Evaluation Framework

 

WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)는 기업과 공공기관의 책임경영 수준을 객관적이고 체계적으로 평가하기 위하여 구축된 공식 책임경영 평가체계이다. WFSRI는 조직의 현재 경영성과를 평가하는 데 그치지 않고 지속가능한 성장 역량, 장기적인 가치창출 능력 및 미래 경쟁력을 종합적으로 진단할 수 있도록 설계되었다.

The WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI) is the official Responsible Management evaluation framework established to objectively and systematically assess the level of Responsible Management in corporations and public institutions. Beyond measuring current organizational performance, WFSRI is designed to comprehensively evaluate sustainable growth capability, long-term value creation, and future competitiveness.

 

기존의 평가는 재무성과나 일부 비재무 요소를 중심으로 이루어지는 경우가 많았다. 그러나 조직의 지속가능한 경쟁력은 재무성과만으로 설명될 수 없으며, 책임 있는 경영, 건전한 지배구조, 사회적 가치, 혁신역량 및 지속적인 개선 노력이 함께 균형을 이루어야 한다. WFSRI는 이러한 통합적 관점을 반영하여 조직의 현재 수준과 미래 발전 가능성을 함께 평가하는 종합적인 평가체계를 제시한다.

Conventional evaluations have often focused primarily on financial performance or selected non-financial factors. However, sustainable organizational competitiveness cannot be explained by financial results alone. Responsible management, sound governance, social value, innovation capability, and continuous improvement must be assessed together in a balanced manner. Reflecting this integrated perspective, WFSRI provides a comprehensive evaluation framework that assesses both current organizational performance and future development potential.

 

평가체계의 기본 개념

WFSRI는 평가를 위한 단순한 지표의 집합이 아니라 책임경영을 체계적으로 진단하기 위한 통합 평가모델이다. 평가철학과 기본원칙을 실제 평가과정에 적용할 수 있도록 표준화된 구조를 채택하고 있으며, 모든 평가가 동일한 원칙과 절차에 따라 수행될 수 있도록 설계되어 있다.

WFSRI is not merely a collection of evaluation indicators but an integrated evaluation model for systematically assessing Responsible Management. It adopts a standardized structure that translates its evaluation philosophy and fundamental principles into practical assessment processes, ensuring that every evaluation is conducted under the same principles and procedures.

 

평가체계는 조직의 전략과 정책, 운영체계, 실행성과 및 지속적인 개선 수준을 종합적으로 분석할 수 있도록 구성되어 있으며, 조직의 책임경영 수준을 다각적인 관점에서 객관적으로 진단하도록 설계되어 있다.

The framework is designed to comprehensively analyze organizational strategy, policies, management systems, implementation performance, and continuous improvement, enabling an objective assessment of Responsible Management from multiple perspectives.

 

 

평가체계의 특징

WFSRI 평가체계는 객관성(Objectivity), 독립성(Independence), 일관성(Consistency), 투명성(Transparency) 및 **재현가능성(Reproducibility)**을 핵심 운영원칙으로 한다. 모든 평가는 동일한 평가기준과 절차를 적용함으로써 평가결과의 신뢰성과 비교 가능성을 확보하도록 설계되어 있다.

The WFSRI Evaluation Framework is founded on the core operational principles of Objectivity, Independence, Consistency, Transparency, and Reproducibility. By applying standardized evaluation criteria and procedures, the framework ensures the credibility and comparability of evaluation results.

 

또한 특정 산업이나 조직에 한정되지 않고 민간기업, 공공기관, 공기업, 비영리기관, 교육기관 및 연구기관 등 다양한 조직에 적용할 수 있도록 범용성과 확장성을 함께 고려하였다.

The framework is also designed with universality and scalability, enabling its application not only to private corporations but also to public institutions, public enterprises, non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and research organizations.

WFSRI is not intended merely as a mechanism for evaluating organizations or determining rankings. Instead, it is a development-oriented Responsible Management evaluation framework that objectively identifies organizational strengths and improvement priorities while providing strategic guidance for sustainable growth and long-term value creation.
