제1장 총칙
Chapter 1. General Provisions

 

제1조 목적
Article 1. Purpose

본 규정은 SEC(Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission)의 평가활동에 참여하는 평가위원 및 평가 관련자의 윤리기준을 정함으로써 평가의 독립성, 객관성, 공정성 및 투명성을 확보하고 공익에 기여함을 목적으로 한다.

These Regulations establish ethical standards for Evaluation Committee Members and evaluation personnel participating in SEC activities in order to ensure independence, objectivity, fairness, transparency, and contribution to the public interest.

 

제2조 적용범위
Article 2. Scope of Application

본 규정은 다음 각 호의 자에게 적용한다.

These Regulations shall apply to the following persons.

① 평가위원
Evaluation Committee Members

② 인증위원
Certification Committee Members

③ 평가실무진
Evaluation Staff

④ 인증실무진
Certification Staff

⑤ 기타 평가 또는 인증 관련 업무에 참여하는 자
Any Other Person Participating in Evaluation or Certification Activities

 

제3조 기본윤리원칙
Article 3. Fundamental Ethical Principles

평가 관련자는 다음 각 호의 원칙을 준수하여야 한다.

Personnel involved in evaluations shall comply with the following principles.

① 독립성 (Independence)
② 객관성 (Objectivity)
③ 공정성 (Fairness)
④ 청렴성 (Integrity)
⑤ 책임성 (Accountability)
⑥ 비밀유지 (Confidentiality)
⑦ 공익성 (Public Interest)

 

제4조 윤리적 책무
Article 4. Ethical Responsibility

평가 관련자는 WFSRI 기반 책임경영 평가철학을 존중하며 평가의 신뢰성과 사회적 책임을 증진하기 위하여 노력하여야 한다.

Personnel involved in evaluations shall respect the responsible management philosophy embodied in WFSRI and strive to enhance evaluation credibility and social responsibility.

제2장 독립성 및 공정성
Chapter 2. Independence and Fairness

 

제5조 독립성 유지
Article 5. Maintenance of Independence

평가 관련자는 외부의 부당한 영향 없이 독립적으로 직무를 수행하여야 한다.

Personnel involved in evaluations shall perform their duties independently and free from improper external influence.

 

제6조 객관적 판단
Article 6. Objective Judgment

평가 관련자는 사실과 근거자료에 기초하여 객관적으로 판단하여야 한다.

Personnel involved in evaluations shall make objective judgments based on facts and supporting evidence.

 

제7조 공정한 평가
Article 7. Fair Evaluation

평가 관련자는 특정 기관 또는 기업에 유리하거나 불리하게 평가하여서는 아니 된다.

Personnel involved in evaluations shall not favor or disadvantage any particular organization or company.

 

제8조 평가위원회의 독립성
Article 8. Independence of the Evaluation Committee

평가위원회는 외부의 압력, 로비 또는 이해관계자의 영향력으로부터 독립적으로 운영되어야 한다.

The Evaluation Committee shall operate independently from external pressure, lobbying, or influence by interested parties.

제3장 청렴 및 경제적 독립성
Chapter 3. Integrity and Financial Independence

 

제9조 청렴의무
Article 9. Integrity Obligation

평가 관련자는 직무수행 과정에서 높은 수준의 청렴성을 유지하여야 한다.

Personnel involved in evaluations shall maintain a high standard of integrity in the performance of their duties.

 

제10조 경제적 독립성
Article 10. Financial Independence

평가 관련자는 경제적 이해관계로부터 독립성을 유지하여야 한다.

Personnel involved in evaluations shall maintain independence from financial interests.

 

제11조 금품수수 금지
Article 11. Prohibition of Acceptance of Benefits

평가 관련자는 평가대상 기관 또는 기업으로부터 금품, 향응, 편의 또는 기타 경제적 이익을 받아서는 아니 된다.

Personnel involved in evaluations shall not accept money, gifts, hospitality, favors, or other economic benefits from evaluated organizations or companies.
 

 

제12조 재정적 기여와 평가결과의 분리
Article 12. Separation of Financial Contributions and Evaluation Results

기관 또는 기업의 재정적 기여 여부는 평가결과 또는 평가등급에 영향을 미쳐서는 아니 된다.

The existence or absence of financial contributions shall not influence evaluation results or ESG Ratings.

제4장 비밀유지
Chapter 4. Confidentiality

 

제13조 비공개 정보 보호
Article 13. Protection of Non-Public Information

평가 관련자는 직무상 취득한 비공개 정보를 보호하여야 한다.

Personnel involved in evaluations shall protect non-public information acquired through their duties.

 

제14조 정보의 부당이용 금지
Article 14. Prohibition of Improper Use of Information

비공개 정보를 사적 이익을 위하여 이용하여서는 아니 된다.

Non-public information shall not be used for personal benefit.

 

제15조 평가위원 비공개 원칙
Article 15. Confidentiality of Evaluation Committee Members

SEC는 평가위원에 대한 외부 압력, 로비 및 이해관계자의 영향력 행사를 방지하기 위하여 개별 평가위원의 신원을 공개하지 아니한다.

SEC shall not disclose the identities of individual Evaluation Committee Members in order to prevent external pressure, lobbying, and influence by interested parties.

다만 평가위원장은 공개할 수 있다.

However, the Chair of the Evaluation Committee may be publicly disclosed.

 

제16조 퇴임 후 의무
Article 16. Post-Service Obligation

직무 종료 후에도 비밀유지 의무는 지속된다.

Confidentiality obligations shall continue after termination of duties.

제5장 윤리교육 및 관리
Chapter 5. Ethics Education and Administration

 

제17조 윤리교육
Article 17. Ethics Education

SEC는 평가윤리의 확립을 위하여 필요한 교육을 실시할 수 있다.

SEC may provide education necessary to promote evaluation ethics.

 

제18조 윤리서약
Article 18. Ethical Commitment

평가위원 및 평가 관련자는 윤리서약을 제출할 수 있다.

Evaluation Committee Members and evaluation personnel may be required to submit ethical commitments.

 

제19조 윤리관리
Article 19. Ethics Administration

SEC는 평가윤리 준수 여부를 지속적으로 점검·관리하여야 한다.

SEC shall continuously monitor compliance with evaluation ethics.

제6장 윤리위반 조사 및 조치
Chapter 6. Investigation and Measures for Ethical Violations

 

제20조 위반신고
Article 20. Reporting Violations

누구든지 윤리위반 사실을 신고할 수 있다.

Any person may report ethical violations.

 

제21조 조사
Article 21. Investigation

SEC는 윤리위반 여부를 조사할 수 있다.

SEC may investigate alleged ethical violations.

 

제22조 소명기회 부여
Article 22. Opportunity to Respond

SEC는 조사대상자에게 의견제출 또는 소명의 기회를 부여할 수 있다.

SEC may provide the subject of an investigation with an opportunity to submit explanations or opinions.

제23조 조치
Article 23. Measures

SEC는 윤리위반자에 대하여 다음 각 호의 조치를 취할 수 있다.

SEC may impose the following measures upon violators.

① 경고
Warning

② 직무배제
Removal from Duties

③ 해촉
Dismissal from Committee Membership

④ 자격제한
Restriction of Qualifications

⑤ 기타 필요하다고 인정하는 조치
Other Measures Deemed Necessary

제7장 다른 규정과의 관계
Chapter 7. Relationship with Other Regulations

 

제24조 이해상충 방지규정과의 관계
Article 24. Relationship with the Conflict of Interest Prevention Regulations

이해상충에 관한 사항은 「SEC 이해상충 방지규정」에 따른다.

Matters relating to conflicts of interest shall be governed by the SEC Conflict of Interest Prevention Regulations.

 

제25조 ESG 평가등급 운영규정과의 관계
Article 25. Relationship with the ESG Rating Regulations

본 규정은 「SEC ESG 평가등급 운영규정」과 연계하여 적용한다.

These Regulations shall be applied in conjunction with the SEC ESG Rating Regulations.

 

제26조 평가 거버넌스 체계
Article 26. Evaluation Governance Framework

본 규정은 SEC 평가 거버넌스 체계의 구성 규정으로 운영한다.

These Regulations shall operate as a constituent regulation of the SEC Evaluation Governance Framework.

부칙
Supplementary Provisions

 

제1조 시행일
Article 1. Effective Date

본 규정은 2026년 1월 1일부터 시행한다.

These Regulations shall enter into force on January 1, 2026.

 

제2조 규정의 개정
Article 2. Amendment of Regulations

본 규정의 개정은 평가위원회의 심의·의결을 거쳐 시행한다.

Any amendment to these Regulations shall be adopted through deliberation and resolution by the Evaluation Committee.
