SEC(Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission)는 WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)를 기반으로 기업·공공기관의 지속가능성(Sustainability), 책임경영(Responsible Management), 비재무 리스크 관리역량(Non-Financial Risk Management Capability), 혁신역량(Innovation Capability) 및 장기 가치창출 역량(Long-Term Value Creation Potential)을 종합적으로 평가하고, 일정 기준 이상을 충족한 기관에 대하여 SEC WFSRI 인증(SEC WFSRI Certification) 을 부여한다.

The Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission (SEC) comprehensively evaluates the sustainability, responsible management performance, non-financial risk management capability, innovation capability, and long-term value creation potential of corporations and public institutions based on the WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI), and grants SEC WFSRI Certification to organizations that meet the prescribed standards.

 

SEC WFSRI 인증은 단순한 형식적 인증이 아니라 기관의 책임경영 수준과 지속가능한 발전 역량을 객관적이고 독립적으로 검증하여 공식적으로 인정하는 제도이다.

SEC WFSRI Certification is not merely a symbolic designation but an official recognition granted through objective and independent verification of an organization's responsible management performance and sustainable development capability.

인증제도의 목적
Purpose of the Certification Program

 

SEC는 인증제도를 통하여 책임경영 수준이 우수한 기관을 객관적으로 검증하고 공식적으로 인정·공표함으로써 건전한 경영문화 확산과 지속가능한 발전을 촉진하고자 한다.

Through the Certification Program, SEC seeks to objectively verify, officially recognize, and publicly announce organizations demonstrating outstanding responsible management performance, thereby promoting sound management practices and sustainable development.

 

인증제도의 주요 목적은 다음과 같다.

인증 대상
Certification Eligibility

 

SEC WFSRI 인증 대상은 기업 및 공공기관(공기업, 준정부기관, 지방공기업 등을 포함)과 기타 공공성이 인정되는 기관으로 한다.

SEC WFSRI Certification is available to corporations and public institutions, including public enterprises, quasi-governmental organizations, local public enterprises, and other organizations recognized as serving the public interest.

 

SEC는 평가결과를 바탕으로 인증기준을 충족한 기관을 선정한다.

SEC selects organizations that satisfy the certification standards based on evaluation results.

 

인증 원칙
Certification Principles

① 독립성 원칙
Principle of Independence

인증은 기관의 신청 여부와 관계없이 SEC의 독립적인 평가결과에 따라 결정된다.

Certification decisions are made based on SEC's independent evaluation results regardless of whether an organization has applied for certification.

 

② 공정성 원칙
Principle of Fairness

모든 기관은 동일한 기준과 절차에 따라 평가된다.

All organizations are evaluated according to the same standards and procedures.

 

③ 객관성 원칙
Principle of Objectivity

인증은 객관적인 자료와 검증 가능한 근거를 기반으로 부여된다.

Certification is granted based on objective information and verifiable evidence.

 

④ 투명성 원칙
Principle of Transparency

인증기준과 운영원칙은 공개된 기준에 따라 운영된다.

Certification standards and operational principles are administered in accordance with publicly disclosed criteria.

 

⑤ 비영리 운영 원칙
Principle of Non-Profit Operation

SEC는 평가와 인증의 독립성을 보장하기 위하여 평가대상 기관으로부터 평가비, 심사비, 인증비, 후원금, 찬조금, 협찬금 또는 기타 명목의 금전적 지원을 받지 아니한다.

To ensure the independence of evaluation and certification activities, SEC does not receive evaluation fees, review fees, certification fees, sponsorships, donations, contributions, or any other form of financial support from evaluated organizations.

 

인증체계
Certification Framework

 

SEC WFSRI 인증은 WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)를 기반으로 실시되는 종합평가 결과에 따라 부여된다.

SEC WFSRI Certification is granted based on comprehensive evaluations conducted under the WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI).

 

평가는 6대 평가부문(Six Major Evaluation Categories), 14개 하위항목(Fourteen Sub-Categories), 110개 세부지표(110 Detailed Indicators) 및 31개 핵심가치지표(CVI, Core Value Indicators) 를 기반으로 실시된다.

Evaluations are conducted based on the Six Major Evaluation Categories, Fourteen Sub-Categories, 110 Detailed Indicators, and 31 Core Value Indicators (CVI).

 

인증등급은 SEC WFSRI Rating 기준에 따라 AAA, AA, A, BB 및 B 등급으로 구분된다.

Certification ratings are classified into AAA, AA, A, BB, and B in accordance with the SEC WFSRI Rating framework.

 

인증의 신뢰성
Credibility of Certification

 

모든 인증결과는 객관적인 평가자료와 검증 가능한 근거를 바탕으로 사실확인(Factual Review), 평가위원회 심의 및 관련 규정에 따른 검증절차를 거쳐 결정된다.

All certification results are determined through objective evaluation materials and verifiable evidence, followed by factual review, commission deliberation, and verification procedures conducted in accordance with the applicable regulations.

 

SEC는 평가와 인증의 독립성, 공정성, 객관성 및 투명성을 확보하기 위하여 관련 제도를 지속적으로 개선하고 운영기준과 주요 정보를 공개하고 있다.

SEC continuously improves its evaluation and certification systems and discloses operational standards and relevant information to ensure independence, fairness, objectivity, and transparency.

 

SEC WFSRI 인증은 기관의 책임경영 수준과 지속가능한 발전 역량을 공식적으로 인정하는 제도이며, 투자자, 이해관계자 및 사회 전반에 객관적인 판단기준(Objective Reference Standard)을 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
