4. 등급별 의미
Meaning of Each Rating

 

SEC WFSRI Rating은 WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)를 기반으로 기업 및 공공기관의 책임경영 수준과 지속가능성(Sustainability)을 종합적으로 평가하여 부여하는 공식 책임경영 평가등급이다.

The SEC WFSRI Rating is the official Responsible Management Rating System assigned through a comprehensive assessment of the Responsible Management performance and Sustainability of Corporations and Public Institutions based on the WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI).

 

각 등급은 조직의 책임경영 수준, 지속가능성(Sustainability), 비재무 리스크 관리역량(Non-Financial Risk Management Capability), 혁신역량(Innovation Capability) 및 장기 가치창출 역량(Long-Term Value Creation Potential)을 종합적으로 반영하며, 투자자와 다양한 이해관계자가 조직의 책임경영 수준을 객관적으로 이해할 수 있도록 지원한다.

Each rating reflects an organization's Responsible Management performance, Sustainability, Non-Financial Risk Management Capability, Innovation Capability, and Long-Term Value Creation Potential, enabling investors and other stakeholders to objectively understand its overall Responsible Management performance.

 

 

AAA (Platinum)

최우수 등급

 

기업 및 공공기관의 책임경영 수준이 최고 수준에 있으며, 지속가능성, 혁신역량, 사회적 가치 창출 및 미래 대응 역량을 균형 있게 갖춘 최상위 조직을 의미한다.

Represents the highest-performing organizations demonstrating excellence in Responsible Management, Sustainability, Innovation Capability, Social Value Creation, and Future Readiness.

 

 

AA (Gold)

우수 등급

 

책임경영 수준과 지속가능성 성과가 우수하며, 비재무 리스크 관리와 사회적 가치 창출 역량을 높은 수준으로 갖춘 조직을 의미한다.

Represents organizations demonstrating a high level of Responsible Management and Sustainability, together with strong capabilities in Non-Financial Risk Management and Social Value Creation.

 

 

A (Silver)

양호 등급

 

안정적인 책임경영 체계를 구축하고 있으며 지속적인 개선 노력과 미래 성장 가능성이 확인되는 조직을 의미한다.

Represents organizations maintaining a stable Responsible Management framework while demonstrating continuous improvement and Future Growth Potential.

 

 

BB (Certified)

인증 등급

 

SEC가 정한 책임경영 기본요건과 인증기준을 충족하여 공식 인증을 받은 조직을 의미한다.

Represents organizations that satisfy the Responsible Management requirements and certification standards established by SEC and have been officially certified.

 

 

B (Not Certified)

일반 등급

 

책임경영 체계의 구축 또는 운영 측면에서 추가적인 개선이 필요한 조직을 의미하며, 지속적인 제도 개선과 운영체계 보완을 통하여 책임경영 수준을 향상시킬 수 있다.

Represents organizations requiring further improvement in the establishment or operation of their Responsible Management framework and encouraged to strengthen their systems through continuous improvement.

 

 

등급의 활용
Application of the Ratings

 

SEC WFSRI Rating은 단순한 순위나 점수의 표시가 아니라 기업 및 공공기관의 책임경영 수준을 객관적으로 이해하고 비교할 수 있도록 지원하는 공식 책임경영 평가등급 체계이다.

The SEC WFSRI Rating is not merely a ranking or numerical score but an official Responsible Management Rating System designed to facilitate an objective understanding and comparison of Responsible Management performance among Corporations and Public Institutions.

 

평가등급은 평가결과의 공표, WFPL ESG 인증제도 운영, ESG·WFSRI 평가분석센터, 연구·정책자료 개발 및 투자자와 다양한 이해관계자의 합리적인 의사결정을 지원하기 위한 기초자료로 활용된다.

The ratings serve as the basis for the disclosure of evaluation results, the operation of the WFPL ESG Certification Program, the ESG·WFSRI Evaluation & Analysis Center, research and policy development, and informed decision-making by investors and other stakeholders.
