1. 결론 (Conclusion)

 

WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)는 기존 ESG(Environment, Social, Governance) 평가체계만으로는 충분히 반영하기 어려운 현대 사회의 새로운 책임경영 요구를 종합적으로 평가하기 위하여 개발된 차세대 책임경영 평가체계이다. 공공가치(Public Value), 사회적 가치(Social Value), 공동체 가치(Community Value), 미래세대 보호(Protection of Future Generations), 디지털윤리(Digital Ethics) 및 혁신가치(Innovation Value)를 함께 반영함으로써 기업 및 공공기관(Corporations and Public Institutions)의 지속가능성(Sustainability), 책임경영(Responsible Management), 비재무 리스크 관리역량(Non-Financial Risk Management Capability), 혁신역량(Innovation Capability) 및 장기 가치창출 역량(Long-Term Value Creation Potential)을 보다 입체적이고 미래지향적으로 평가하도록 설계되었다.

The WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI) is a next-generation Responsible Management Evaluation Framework developed to address the evolving responsible management challenges of modern society that are difficult to fully capture through conventional ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) frameworks alone. By incorporating Public Value, Social Value, Community Value, Protection of Future Generations, Digital Ethics, and Innovation Value, it provides a more comprehensive and forward-looking assessment of the Sustainability, Responsible Management, Non-Financial Risk Management Capability, Innovation Capability, and Long-Term Value Creation Potential of Corporations and Public Institutions.

 

WFSRI는 6대 평가부문(Six Major Evaluation Categories), 14개 하위항목(Fourteen Sub-Categories), 110개 세부지표(110 Detailed Indicators) 및 31개 핵심가치지표(Core Value Indicators, CVI)로 구성된 체계적인 책임경영 평가체계로서 기업 및 공공기관이 지속가능한 성장과 장기 가치창출을 실현하고 사회적 신뢰를 높일 수 있도록 지원하는 것을 목적으로 한다.

The WFSRI consists of Six Major Evaluation Categories, Fourteen Sub-Categories, 110 Detailed Indicators, and 31 Core Value Indicators (CVI), forming a systematic Responsible Management Evaluation Framework designed to support sustainable growth, long-term value creation, and enhanced public trust.

 

또한 WFSRI는 SEC WFSRI Rating, WFPL ESG 인증제도 및 ESG·WFSRI 평가분석센터와 연계되어 평가(Evaluation), 등급(Rating), 분석(Analysis), 인증(Certification) 및 연구(Research)가 유기적으로 연결되는 통합 운영체계의 기반으로 활용되고 있다.

Furthermore, the WFSRI serves as the foundation of an integrated operational framework in which Evaluation, Rating, Analysis, Certification, and Research are organically connected through the SEC WFSRI Rating, the WFPL ESG Certification Program, and the ESG·WFSRI Evaluation & Analysis Center.

 

SEC는 WFSRI가 단순한 평가도구를 넘어 기업 및 공공기관의 자발적인 책임경영 실천과 지속적인 혁신을 촉진하고, 기업가치(Corporate Value), 주주가치(Shareholder Value), 이해관계자 가치(Stakeholder Value) 및 사회적 가치(Social Value)를 함께 높이는 발전지향형 책임경영의 새로운 기준(New Standard for Responsible Management)으로 활용되기를 기대한다.

SEC expects the WFSRI to serve not merely as an evaluation tool, but as the New Standard for Responsible Management that promotes voluntary responsible management, continuous innovation, and the enhancement of Corporate Value, Shareholder Value, Stakeholder Value, and Social Value.

 

 

2. 미래비전 (Future Vision)

 

SEC는 앞으로도 WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)를 지속적으로 발전시켜 기업 및 공공기관의 지속가능한 성장, 미래 경쟁력 강화, 장기 가치창출 및 사회적 가치 실현을 지원하는 세계적 수준(World-Class)의 책임경영 평가체계로 고도화해 나갈 것이다.

SEC will continue to advance the WFSRI into a world-class Responsible Management Evaluation Framework that supports sustainable growth, strengthens future competitiveness, promotes long-term value creation, and advances social value for Corporations and Public Institutions.

 

향후 WFSRI는 책임경영 수준을 객관적으로 평가하는 기능과 함께 미래 성장 가능성(Future Growth Potential), 혁신역량(Innovation Capability) 및 장기 경쟁력을 종합적으로 분석하여 투자자(Investors), 주주(Shareholders), 고객(Customers), 임직원(Employees) 및 다양한 이해관계자(Stakeholders)의 합리적인 의사결정을 지원하는 전략적 기반으로 발전해 나갈 것이다.

The WFSRI will continue to evolve beyond evaluating Responsible Management by providing comprehensive analysis of Future Growth Potential, Innovation Capability, and Long-Term Competitiveness, thereby supporting informed decision-making by investors, shareholders, customers, employees, and other stakeholders.

 

SEC는 핵심가치지표(Core Value Indicators, CVI)의 지속적인 발전과 평가체계의 고도화를 통하여 평가의 객관성(Objectivity), 신뢰성(Reliability) 및 활용성(Practical Applicability)을 더욱 강화하고, 기업 및 공공기관이 책임경영을 통하여 지속가능한 경쟁우위를 확보할 수 있도록 지원할 것이다.

SEC will further strengthen the Objectivity, Reliability, and Practical Applicability of the WFSRI through the continuous advancement of the Core Value Indicators (CVI) and ongoing enhancement of the evaluation framework, enabling organizations to achieve sustainable competitive advantages through Responsible Management.

 

또한 SEC WFSRI Rating의 지속적인 고도화, WFPL ESG 인증제도의 확대 및 ESG·WFSRI 평가분석센터 운영 강화를 통하여 우수사례를 확산하고 기업 및 공공기관의 책임경영 역량을 높임으로써 기업가치(Corporate Value), 주주가치(Shareholder Value), 이해관계자 가치(Stakeholder Value) 및 사회적 가치(Social Value)를 함께 증진하는 데 기여할 것이다.

SEC will continue to enhance the SEC WFSRI Rating, expand the WFPL ESG Certification Program, and strengthen the ESG·WFSRI Evaluation & Analysis Center to disseminate best practices, improve Responsible Management capabilities, and contribute to the enhancement of Corporate Value, Shareholder Value, Stakeholder Value, and Social Value.

 

아울러 국제사회가 추구하는 지속가능발전목표(SDGs)와 글로벌 책임경영 흐름에 부합하는 평가체계를 지속적으로 발전시켜 국제적 정합성과 활용성을 높이고, 국제사회에서 신뢰받는 책임경영 기준으로 자리매김해 나갈 것이다.

SEC will continue to develop the WFSRI in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and global Responsible Management trends, strengthening its international relevance and establishing it as a globally trusted Responsible Management standard.

 

궁극적으로 SEC는 WFSRI를 기반으로 평가(Evaluation), 등급(Rating), 분석(Analysis), 인증(Certification) 및 연구(Research)가 유기적으로 연계되는 세계적 수준(World-Class)의 책임경영 플랫폼을 구축하여 기업 및 공공기관의 지속가능한 성장과 미래 경쟁력 강화, 장기 가치창출을 지원하고 투자자와 다양한 이해관계자의 신뢰를 높이는 데 기여하고자 한다. 이를 통하여 책임경영은 단순한 평가의 대상이 아니라 조직의 경쟁력을 높이고 경제적 가치(Economic Value)와 사회적 가치(Social Value)를 함께 실현하는 새로운 성장전략(New Growth Strategy)으로 발전해 나갈 것이다.

Ultimately, SEC seeks to establish a world-class Responsible Management Platform in which Evaluation, Rating, Analysis, Certification, and Research are organically integrated through the WFSRI. This platform will support sustainable growth, stronger future competitiveness, and long-term value creation while enhancing trust among investors and stakeholders. Through this approach, Responsible Management will evolve beyond evaluation into a New Growth Strategy that strengthens organizational competitiveness while creating both Economic Value and Social Value.

 

마지막으로 WFSRI는 앞으로도 기업 및 공공기관의 지속가능한 성장과 혁신을 지원하는 '책임경영의 새로운 기준(New Standard for Responsible Management)' 으로 지속적으로 발전해 나갈 것이며, 책임경영 문화 확산과 지속가능한 사회 발전을 선도하는 세계적 수준의 책임경영 평가체계로 자리매김해 나갈 것이다.

The WFSRI will continue to evolve as the New Standard for Responsible Management, supporting sustainable growth and innovation for Corporations and Public Institutions while establishing itself as a world-class Responsible Management Evaluation Framework that advances responsible management and sustainable development throughout the global community.
