정보공개 운영원칙
Information Disclosure Principles

 

 

 

SEC(Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission)는 평가의 투명성(Transparency), 공정성(Fairness), 객관성(Objectivity), 독립성(Independence) 및 신뢰성(Credibility)을 확보하는 동시에 평가체계의 전문성과 핵심 지식자산(Intellectual Property)을 보호하기 위하여 다음과 같은 정보공개 운영원칙을 적용한다.

The Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission (SEC) applies the following Information Disclosure Principles to ensure transparency, fairness, objectivity, independence, and credibility in its evaluation activities while protecting the expertise of its evaluation framework and its core intellectual property.

 

 

① 공개 원칙 (Principle of Public Disclosure)

 

SEC는 기업 및 공공기관, 투자자 및 다양한 이해관계자가 평가제도를 충분히 이해하고 활용할 수 있도록 평가철학, 평가체계, 운영원칙, 평가절차, 평가결과 공표기준, 인증제도 및 연구자료 등 공개 가능한 정보를 적극적으로 공개한다.

SEC proactively discloses information that may appropriately be made public, including its evaluation philosophy, evaluation framework, operational principles, evaluation procedures, disclosure principles, certification framework, and research resources, enabling corporations, public institutions, investors, and stakeholders to fully understand and utilize the evaluation system.

 

 

② 제한공개 원칙 (Principle of Restricted Disclosure)

 

평가의 공정성, 이해관계자의 권익 보호 및 평가절차의 적정한 운영을 위하여 일부 정보는 필요한 범위에서만 공개한다.

To ensure evaluation fairness, protect stakeholder interests, and maintain the proper administration of evaluation procedures, certain information is disclosed only to the extent necessary.

 

 

③ 비공개 원칙 (Principle of Confidentiality)

 

평가체계의 객관성, 독립성 및 전문성을 유지하고 WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)와 관련 평가체계의 핵심 지식자산을 보호하기 위하여 평가운영에 관한 핵심 내부기준, 내부 운영자료 및 평가기법은 공개하지 않는다.

To preserve the objectivity, independence, and professionalism of the evaluation framework and to protect the core intellectual property of the WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI) and related evaluation systems, SEC does not disclose proprietary evaluation methodologies, internal operational standards, or confidential evaluation techniques.

 

 

④ 지식재산 보호 원칙 (Principle of Intellectual Property Protection)

 

SEC는 WF책임경영지수(WFSRI), SEC WFSRI Rating 및 관련 평가체계의 연구성과, 평가모델, 운영기준 및 기술적 방법론을 핵심 지식자산으로 관리하며, 관련 법령과 내부 규정에 따라 보호한다.

SEC manages the WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI), the SEC WFSRI Rating, and the related evaluation framework, research outcomes, evaluation models, operational standards, and technical methodologies as core intellectual property, protecting them in accordance with applicable laws and internal regulations.

 

 

⑤ 균형의 원칙 (Principle of Balanced Disclosure)

 

SEC는 공개 가능한 정보는 최대한 투명하게 공개하되, 평가의 공정성과 독립성, 평가체계의 신뢰성 및 핵심 지식자산의 보호에 필요한 정보는 적정하게 관리함으로써 정보공개와 지식재산 보호의 균형을 유지한다.

SEC is committed to the maximum possible transparency for information suitable for public disclosure while appropriately protecting information necessary to preserve evaluation fairness, independence, credibility, and core intellectual property, thereby maintaining an appropriate balance between transparency and intellectual property protection.
