인증절차

Certification Process

 

 

 

SEC(Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission)의 SEC WFSRI Certification은 WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)를 기반으로 실시되는 평가결과에 따라 부여된다.

SEC WFSRI Certification under the Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission (SEC) is granted based on evaluation results derived from the WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI).

 

SEC WFSRI Certification은 객관성(Objectivity), 공정성(Fairness), 독립성(Independence), 투명성(Transparency), 전문성(Professionalism) 및 책임성(Accountability)을 바탕으로 운영되며, 공개된 평가기준과 절차에 따라 진행된다.

SEC WFSRI Certification is administered based on the principles of Objectivity, Fairness, Independence, Transparency, Professionalism, and Accountability, and is conducted in accordance with publicly disclosed evaluation standards and procedures.

 

인증은 기관의 신청 여부와 관계없이 SEC의 독립적인 평가결과를 바탕으로 결정될 수 있으며, 평가대상기관 중 인증기준을 충족한 기관에 대하여 부여된다.

Certification may be granted based on SEC's independent evaluation results regardless of whether an organization has applied for certification and is awarded to organizations that satisfy the prescribed certification standards.

 

인증절차 개요
Overview of the Certification Process

 

SEC의 인증절차는 다음과 같은 단계로 운영된다.

The SEC Certification Process consists of the following stages.

 

① 평가계획 수립
Evaluation Planning

 

SEC는 연간 평가계획을 수립하고 평가대상, 평가범위, 평가일정 및 운영기준을 확정한다.

SEC establishes an annual evaluation plan and determines evaluation targets, scope, schedules, and operational standards.

 

② 평가대상기관 선정
Selection of Organizations for Evaluation

 

SEC는 평가의 공익성, 사회적 영향력, 책임경영 수준 및 평가 필요성 등을 종합적으로 고려하여 평가대상기관을 선정한다.

SEC selects organizations for evaluation by comprehensively considering public interest, social impact, responsible management performance, and evaluation necessity.

 

③ 평가자료 수집 및 검토
Collection and Review of Evaluation Materials

 

평가대상기관의 공시자료, 지속가능경영보고서, ESG 보고서, 사업보고서(Annual Reports), 홈페이지 공개자료 및 기타 객관적인 자료를 수집·검토한다.

SEC collects and reviews disclosure materials, Sustainability Reports, ESG Reports, Annual Reports, publicly available website information, and other objective materials.

 

④ 평가분석 실시
Evaluation Analysis

 

SEC는 WFSRI 평가체계에 따라 정량평가와 정성평가를 실시한다.

SEC conducts quantitative and qualitative evaluations in accordance with the WFSRI Evaluation Framework.

 

평가는 6대 평가부문(Six Major Evaluation Categories), 14개 하위항목(Fourteen Sub-Categories), 110개 세부지표(110 Detailed Indicators) 및 31개 핵심가치지표(CVI, Core Value Indicators)를 기반으로 실시된다.

Evaluations are conducted based on the Six Major Evaluation Categories, Fourteen Sub-Categories, 110 Detailed Indicators, and 31 Core Value Indicators (CVI).

 

⑤ 사실확인(Factual Review)
Factual Review

 

SEC는 평가결과의 정확성과 신뢰성을 확보하기 위하여 사실확인 절차를 운영한다.

SEC operates a Factual Review process to ensure the accuracy and reliability of evaluation results.

필요한 경우 평가대상기관은 사실관계 확인을 위한 의견, 소명자료 또는 보완자료를 제출할 수 있다.

Where necessary, organizations may submit comments, explanatory statements, or supplementary materials for factual verification.

 

⑥ 평가위원회 심의
Evaluation Commission Review

 

평가위원회는 평가결과, 검증자료 및 사실확인 결과를 종합적으로 검토한다.

The Evaluation Commission comprehensively reviews evaluation results, verification materials, and factual review findings.

 

필요한 경우 추가 검증 또는 보완심의를 실시할 수 있다.

Additional verification or supplementary review may be conducted where necessary.

 

⑦ SEC WFSRI Rating 결정
Determination of SEC WFSRI Rating

 

평가위원회는 심의결과를 바탕으로 SEC WFSRI Rating을 결정한다.

Based on the review results, the Evaluation Commission determines the applicable SEC WFSRI Rating.

 

SEC WFSRI Rating은 다음과 같이 구분된다.

The SEC WFSRI Rating is classified as follows.

 

AAA — Platinum Rating
AA — Gold Rating
A — Silver Rating
BB — Certified Rating
B — Not Certified

⑧ 인증기관 선정
Selection of Certified Organizations

 

SEC는 인증기준을 충족한 기관을 인증기관으로 선정한다.

SEC designates organizations satisfying the certification requirements as Certified Organizations.

 

인증기관은 해당 평가연도의 SEC WFSRI Rating을 부여받는다.

Certified Organizations are assigned the SEC WFSRI Rating corresponding to the applicable Evaluation Year.

 

⑨ 인증서 수여
Awarding of Certification

 

SEC는 인증기관에 대하여 공식 인증서를 수여할 수 있다.

SEC may award official certificates to Certified Organizations.

 

인증서는 전자문서(Electronic Document) 또는 SEC가 정하는 방식으로 제공될 수 있다.

Certificates may be provided in electronic document format or through other methods determined by the SEC.

 

⑩ 평가결과 및 SEC WFSRI Rating 공표
Publication of Evaluation Results and SEC WFSRI Rating

 

SEC는 관련 규정에 따라 평가결과 및 SEC WFSRI Rating을 공개할 수 있다.

SEC may disclose evaluation results and the SEC WFSRI Rating in accordance with the applicable regulations.

 

공개 범위와 공개 방식은 「SEC 평가결과 공표규정」에 따른다.

The scope and method of disclosure shall be governed by the SEC Regulations on the Publication of Evaluation Results.

 

⑪ 이의신청(Appeal)
Appeal Process

 

평가대상기관은 평가결과 또는 SEC WFSRI Rating에 대하여 이의신청을 할 수 있다.

Organizations may file an appeal regarding the evaluation results or the SEC WFSRI Rating.

 

이의신청 절차는 「SEC 이의신청 심사규정」에 따라 운영된다.

Appeals shall be administered in accordance with the SEC Appeal Review Regulations.

 

⑫ 사후관리 및 인증 유지
Post-Certification Management and Maintenance

 

SEC는 인증기관의 지속적인 책임경영 수준 유지를 위하여 사후관리를 실시할 수 있다.

SEC may conduct post-certification management to ensure the continued maintenance of responsible management performance by Certified Organizations.

 

중대한 법규 위반, 회계부정, 부패행위, 중대한 ESG 관련 이슈 또는 사회적 물의가 발생한 경우 인증 유지 여부를 재검토할 수 있다.

Certification status may be reviewed where serious legal violations, accounting misconduct, corruption, material ESG-related issues, or significant social controversies arise.

 

인증절차의 신뢰성
Credibility of the Certification Process

 

SEC는 평가와 인증의 독립성을 보장하기 위하여 평가비, 심사비, 인증비, 후원금, 찬조금, 협찬금 또는 기타 명목의 금전적 지원을 받지 아니한다.

To ensure the independence of evaluation and certification activities, the SEC does not receive evaluation fees, review fees, certification fees, sponsorships, contributions, donations, or any other form of financial support from evaluated organizations.

 

모든 인증절차는 공개된 평가기준, 검증절차, 사실확인(Factual Review), 평가위원회 심의 및 이의신청 절차를 거쳐 운영된다.

All certification procedures are conducted through publicly disclosed evaluation standards, verification procedures, factual review processes, Evaluation Commission deliberations, and appeal procedures.

 

SEC는 앞으로도 공정성(Fairness), 객관성(Objectivity), 독립성(Independence) 및 투명성(Transparency)을 바탕으로 신뢰할 수 있는 SEC WFSRI Certification 운영체계를 지속적으로 발전시켜 나갈 것이다.

The SEC will continue to advance a credible SEC WFSRI Certification framework based on the principles of Fairness, Objectivity, Independence, and Transparency.
