Chapter IV. Overview of the Evaluation Framework

 

 

WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)는 기업 및 공공기관(Corporations and Public Institutions)의 지속가능성(Sustainability), 책임경영(Responsible Management), 비재무 리스크 관리역량(Non-Financial Risk Management Capability), 혁신역량(Innovation Capability) 및 장기 가치창출 역량(Long-Term Value Creation Potential)을 종합적으로 평가하기 위하여 SEC(Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission)가 개발·운영하는 공식 책임경영 평가체계이다.

The WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI) is the official Responsible Management Evaluation Framework developed and operated by the Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission (SEC) to comprehensively assess the Sustainability, Responsible Management, Non-Financial Risk Management Capability, Innovation Capability, and Long-Term Value Creation Potential of Corporations and Public Institutions.

 

WFSRI는 기존 ESG(Environment, Social, Governance) 평가체계만으로는 충분히 반영하기 어려운 현대 사회의 새로운 책임경영 요구를 종합적으로 평가하기 위하여 개발된 차세대 책임경영 평가체계이다. ESG의 기본 영역을 넘어 책임경영(Responsible Management), 공공가치(Public Value), 사회적 가치(Social Value), 공동체 가치(Community Value), 미래세대 보호(Protection of Future Generations), 디지털윤리(Digital Ethics) 및 혁신가치(Innovation Value)를 함께 반영함으로써 기업 및 공공기관의 지속가능성, 책임경영 수준, 비재무 리스크 관리역량, 혁신역량 및 장기 가치창출 역량을 보다 입체적이고 미래지향적으로 평가한다.

The WFSRI is a next-generation Responsible Management Evaluation Framework developed to address the evolving responsible management challenges of modern society that are difficult to fully capture through conventional ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) frameworks alone. Going beyond the traditional ESG domains, it incorporates Responsible Management, Public Value, Social Value, Community Value, Protection of Future Generations, Digital Ethics, and Innovation Value to provide a more comprehensive and forward-looking assessment of the Sustainability, Responsible Management, Non-Financial Risk Management Capability, Innovation Capability, and Long-Term Value Creation Potential of Corporations and Public Institutions.

 

WFSRI는 단순한 평가지표나 등급체계를 넘어 평가철학(Evaluation Philosophy), 평가체계(Evaluation Framework), SEC WFSRI Rating, 평가결과 활용체계(Evaluation Result Utilization Framework)를 유기적으로 연계한 통합 책임경영 평가 플랫폼(Integrated Responsible Management Evaluation Platform)으로 설계되었다.

The WFSRI is more than a collection of evaluation indicators or a rating system. It is designed as an Integrated Responsible Management Evaluation Platform that organically connects its Evaluation Philosophy, Evaluation Framework, the SEC WFSRI Rating, and the Evaluation Result Utilization Framework.

 

평가는 조직의 현재 수준을 단순히 비교하거나 순위를 결정하는 데 목적이 있는 것이 아니라 조직의 강점과 개선과제를 객관적으로 진단하고 지속적인 혁신과 책임경영 역량 강화를 지원하는 데 목적이 있다.

The purpose of the WFSRI is not simply to compare organizations or determine rankings, but to objectively identify organizational strengths and areas for improvement while supporting continuous innovation and the enhancement of Responsible Management capability.

 

WFSRI는 6대 평가부문(Six Major Evaluation Categories), 14개 하위항목(Fourteen Sub-Categories), 110개 세부지표(110 Detailed Indicators) 및 31개 핵심가치지표(Core Value Indicators, CVI)로 구성되며, 조직의 정책, 제도, 운영체계, 실행성과 및 지속적인 개선 노력을 종합적으로 평가하도록 설계되어 있다.

The WFSRI consists of Six Major Evaluation Categories, Fourteen Sub-Categories, 110 Detailed Indicators, and 31 Core Value Indicators (CVI). It is designed to comprehensively evaluate an organization's policies, institutional arrangements, operational systems, implementation performance, and continuous improvement efforts.

 

이를 통하여 기업 및 공공기관의 지속가능성, 책임경영 수준, 비재무 리스크 관리역량, 혁신역량 및 장기 가치창출 역량은 물론 미래 성장 가능성과 미래 경쟁력까지 균형 있고 일관된 기준에 따라 종합적으로 평가할 수 있도록 구성되어 있다.

Through this framework, the WFSRI provides a balanced and consistent assessment of the Sustainability, Responsible Management, Non-Financial Risk Management Capability, Innovation Capability, Long-Term Value Creation Potential, Future Growth Potential, and Future Competitiveness of Corporations and Public Institutions.
